Great after school snack! Satisfies the meat, cheese, and bread cravings with a savory taste. Not too filling that it will ruin their appetites for supper. Keep these ingredients on hand for an easy last minute bite, or make ahead and they can reheat. Young children can make these as long as they have a helper for the oven.

Ingredients
1tubecrescent rolls
1package turkey pepperoni slicesYou can use regular pepperoni, but I always buy the turkey pepperoni version.
8 mozzarella cheese sticks
1/2cupcanned pizza sauce
1tspitalian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375. (Adults or older children's job) Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Open the crescent roll tube, separate them into 8 triangles and open them flat onto a countertop or cutting board.
Spoon a little pizza sauce onto the larger part of the triangle. Place a few pepperoni slices on each triangle towards the larger end. Place one mozzarella stick over the pepperoni towards the wider end of the triangle. Sprinkle a little italian seasoning on top, if desired.
Starting with the wide edge, roll the triangle up toward the pointed end, and place the rollup on the baking sheet. Once all 8 are done, place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 11-13 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melty.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Make these the night before and kids can reheat them in the microwave for 10 seconds for an after school snack. Or send them in a lunch bag and they can be eaten at room temperature for an easy lunch. These are also good for bringing to sports games or practices for easy snacks.
