My Dawg Koa Kickstarter Project
With each new Duke the Deaf Dog book, I think “this one is even better!”
My Dawg Koa is no different!
If you don’t follow me on social media, you might have missed the barrage of posts over the past weeks about the Kickstarter Project we ran for My Dawg Koa, the third book in the series. As you can see from the image, the people at Kickstarter liked our book so much they chose it as a #ProjectWeLove! I’m happy to announce that we surpassed our funding goal and are now in the production stages of making the books!
The My Dawg Koa Kickstarter campaign has ended but the Pre-order store is still open!
We will order hardcover copies in addition to the regular paperback copies that we’ve done before for Never Mind and Farts Make Noise. One of the cool benefits of pre-ordering your books through Kickstarter is that you receive them two months before the books are released on any other retailers. And your hardcover or paperback copies will be autographed!
If you haven’t ordered your copies yet, it’s not too late! But hurry because the Pre-order store is open for a very limited time.
You can get an ebook for as little as $8, or hardcover copies of all 3 books in the series plus a bunch of extras like the workbooks, stickers, fridge magnet, whoopie cushion and more.
If you’ve always wanted hardcover copies of Never Mind and Farts Make Noise, they are available now exclusively from this Kickstarter.
Theresa Murray illustrated special 5×7 postcard art for this project and it will be included with all orders $25 and up. She does such a nice job coming up with original ideas for this series!
Check out the full story on Kickstarter and choose your items there. We can’t wait to get these books into your hands soon!
Thanks again to everyone who supported our project!
Kelly Brakenhoff is the author of 15 books and a seasoned ASL interpreter. She splits her writing energy between two series: cozy mysteries set on a college campus and children’s books featuring Duke the Deaf Dog.
Parents, kids, and teachers love the children’s books and activity guides because they introduce ASL and the Deaf community through fun, engaging stories. And if you enjoy a smart female sleuth, want to learn more about Deaf culture, or have ever lived in a place where livestock outnumber people, the Cassandra Sato Mystery series will have you connecting the dots faster than a group project coming together the night before it’s due.
A proud mom to four adults, head of the dog-snuggling department, and grandma to a growing brood of perfectly behaved grandkids, Kelly and her husband call Nebraska home.
